Why This Role Matters When something breaks in someone's home, how it gets fixed matters as much as whether it gets fixed. We place a high priority on delivering genuinely high-quality service, and on treating our residents and homeowners with dignity and respect while we resolve the problem in front of them. This role matters because we strive to take good care of the people we serve. Our Lead Service Techs operate with a high level of independence and trust. You'll focus on resolving real service issues, not juggling apps, admin work, or unnecessary site visits. Our biggest current need is plumbing, particularly comfort with augers and sewer cameras, followed by HVAC service and then electrical service. If you're strong in the trades and you want autonomy, stability, and a company vehicle on day one, this is it. What You'll Do
  • Complete service work orders primarily in the trades where you already have strong experience.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Perform occasional move-out inspections and light repair assessments.
  • Document your work in
Property Meld:
receipt photos, photos of completed work, work logs, job notes, and communication with our team and with the tenants whose homes you're working in.
  • Report your hours and request PTO in Gusto, our HR platform.
  • Use company-provided major tools and equipment.
  • Participate in a paid on-call rotation, with systems in place to prevent unnecessary after-hours work. Emergency after-hours calls are paid at overtime rates, and on-call during federal holidays is paid at a higher rate simply for being available. What We Provide
  • Company vehicle available on day one.
  • Administrative support that keeps you on track and makes sure your reporting gets completed.
  • Major specialty tools provided; company hand tools available.
  • PTO accrues to 20 days per year (max 5 vacation days used per quarter).
  • Health insurance stipend.
  • Employee discount.
  • Professional development assistance, including training in trades you want to add. What You Need
  • 3-5+ years as a service tech in the skilled trades.
  • Plumbing experience is our primary need, particularly augers, and ideally sewer cameras. HVAC service is a strong second. Electrical service is valued. All trade backgrounds considered.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow.
  • Ability to show respect to tenants and homeowners.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in varied environments.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Clean background check. About Three Little Pigs We help people build their house of bricks
  • tenants, homeowners, and investors alike.
