```Duties```
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and building codes to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using hand tools or power tools
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges or other equipment
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters
- Respond to plumbing emergencies or service calls in a timely manner ```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a plumber or completion of an apprenticeship program
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building codes
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Welding skills for pipe fitting is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths
- Ability to assemble, install, and maintain plumbing systems according to specifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for plumbing work
- Knowledge of maintenance person skills for general repairs and maintenance tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
