Owner / Operations Manager About Us We are a growing handyman and remodeling company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our projects range from service calls and repairs to full kitchen and bathroom remodels. We take pride in quality workmanship, clean job sites, and building long-term relationships with our customers. Position Overview We are seeking a licensed Master Plumber to join our team as a hands-on, working tradesperson. This is not a supervisory desk role — you will primarily be performing your own plumbing work in the field with the support of a dedicated helper/apprentice, across both residential and commercial job sites. You'll have the independence to run your own jobs from start to finish while being backed by a company that handles scheduling, materials coordination, and customer management. What You'll Do Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and replacements in residential homes and light commercial spaces Rough-in and finish plumbing for kitchen and bathroom remodels, including relocating supply lines, drains, and vents Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, water pressure issues, and drainage problems Install and service water heaters (tank and tankless), fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, sump pumps, and gas lines Repair and replace water, waste, and vent piping (copper, PEX, CPVC, PVC, cast iron, galvanized) Direct and mentor an assigned helper/apprentice on job sites, delegating tasks appropriately and helping them develop their skills Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and pass required inspections; pull permits where required Communicate clearly with customers about scope of work, findings, and recommendations Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time on job Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site Coordinate with our remodeling crews, other trades, and management to keep projects on schedule What We're Looking For Active Master Plumber license valid in the jurisdictions we serve (e.g., Allegheny County Health Department registration and/or applicable municipal licenses in Western PA) Minimum 5+ years of plumbing experience, with strong residential service and remodel experience; light commercial experience a plus Ability to work independently — you'll run your own jobs with minimal supervision Experience leading or training a helper or apprentice Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Solid knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and permit/inspection processes Comfortable working in occupied homes and active businesses with a professional, customer-friendly demeanor Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Able to lift 75+ lbs, work in crawl spaces, basements, and attics, and handle the physical demands of the trade Own hand tools preferred (specialty equipment provided) Ability to pass a background check Nice to Have Gas fitting experience and familiarity with gas appliance installation Backflow prevention certification Experience with sewer camera inspection and drain cleaning equipment Medical gas or commercial fit-out experience What We Offer Steady, year-round work — no chasing your own jobs; we keep your schedule full A dedicated helper so you can focus on skilled work Company vehicle and fuel card (or vehicle allowance) Specialty tools and equipment provided Paid time off and holidays Growth opportunity as the company expands its plumbing division Supportive back office that handles scheduling, estimates, billing, and customer service A respectful, no-drama team culture that values craftsmanship
