: Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Design Technician Intermediate to join our team. This role involves producing plumbing designs for construction projects, coordinating designs with other disciplines, and reviewing RFI's and shop drawings. The position is based in our Cincinnati office and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
Produce plumbing designs for domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent, and storm water systems using Revit.
Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
Review and respond to RFI's and shop drawings.
Qualifications
10 years of practical experience in plumbing design, which may be reduced to 5 years with an Associate's Degree in a related technical discipline.
Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
General working knowledge of plumbing codes.
Understanding of clash detection, clash resolution, and building system coordination.
Industrial design experience, including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar fields.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and able to contribute innovative ideas.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in various teams, including multidisciplinary teams, with clients and construction teams.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and a drive to broaden knowledge base.
Schedule
This is a hybrid position based in our Cincinnati office, with the majority of work conducted remotely and approximately two days per week in the office as needed for projects.
