Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential and commercial sites. Your expertise will ensure water systems operate efficiently, adhere to local building codes, and meet safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to remodeling, utilizing your technical skills and customer service abilities to deliver top-quality results. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Operate hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading machines, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively. Conduct drain cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to prevent or resolve blockages. Perform plumbing system inspections to identify issues early and recommend effective solutions; utilize schematics for troubleshooting. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with construction teams, HVAC specialists, and handyman professionals on remodeling or construction projects. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while adhering to commercial driving regulations. Maintain plumbing systems through routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades; assist with water system maintenance as needed. Use plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose underground or concealed pipe issues accurately. Assist with remodeling projects by assembling fixtures or components and ensuring seamless integration into existing systems. Experience Proven construction experience with a strong background in residential and commercial plumbing projects. Skilled in welding, pipe threading, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and assembly tasks. Hands-on experience with drain cleaning techniques and the use of plumbing inspection cameras. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to plumbing installation and repair. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, HVAC systems knowledge is a plus. Experience working on construction sites with heavy lifting requirements; comfortable working at heights or confined spaces as needed. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or team members about technical issues. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles in compliance with safety standards; commercial driving certification is preferred. Basic math skills for measuring materials and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Handyman experience or remodeling background is advantageous for versatile project support.
