Overview We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and experienced lead plumber to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess strong leadership qualities and technical expertise in plumbing. This role involves overseeing field service operations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Lead Hand will be responsible for guiding a team of two technicians in various tasks while fostering a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the field service crew to ensure timely completion of projects. Utilize hand tools to perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Read and interpret blueprints to plan and execute plumbing layouts accurately. Oversee construction plumbing tasks, including pipe threading and installation of plumbing systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all operations. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on best practices and techniques. Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure adherence to specifications. Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any necessary adjustments. Requirements Must be timely, efficient, and able to produce. Roughing in and trimming out houses, apartments, townhomes, and light commercial with crawl spaces and slabs. Proven experience in the plumbing field. Proficiency in using hand tools and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience with pipe threading and construction plumbing is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving common goals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
