Position Overview:
Build systems that last—Rapid is hiring Residential Plumbing Installers who know quality work matters. There's a difference between a plumber who just connects pipes and one who builds systems families can trust for decades. You're the second kind. As a Residential Plumbing Installer at Rapid, you'll handle complete installations—water heaters, drain systems, whole-home re-pipes—with precision and care. You'll work directly with homeowners, explain your solutions clearly, and leave knowing the system you built will keep working long after you're gone. If you take pride in installations done right the first time and want to be rewarded for quality work, let's talk. What You'll Do:
Complete residential plumbing installations, drain systems, and related in-home projects Diagnose existing systems and recommend the right solutions—not just the most expensive ones Explain your work to customers in plain English and show them why quality matters Build customer trust through education, not pressure—we sell through transparency Re-check every installation before you leave to ensure it's working perfectly Help customers choose financing options and maintenance plans that fit their needs Keep your truck organized and professional—it's one of our best advertisements Train and mentor apprentices who want to learn the trade the right wayWhat We're Looking For:
3+ years hands-on plumbing installation experience Deep knowledge of residential plumbing systems and current codes Valid driver's license with clean driving record Can lift 50+ lbs and work in varied conditions (crawl spaces, attics, tight spots) Comfortable working 40+ hours/week when needed What makes you stand out: You can explain complex plumbing issues so homeowners actually understand them You take pride in installations that won't need callbacks You see every job as a chance to build Rapid's reputation You're as good with people as you are with pipe—customer service matters here You want to be rewarded for quality work, not just showing upDesired Skills and Experience:
If you can achieve the above and you find it fun and challenging- you have just the right amount. If you want to be part of something bigger than just a job
- make this career move and find exactly what you're looking for.
