Plumbing Technician Overview Pink Duck Plumbing is always looking to hire experienced Plumbing Technicians. Our Plumbing Technician's primary duty is to diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions. Responsibilities Plumbing Technician Complete plumbing, drain cleaning, and other related in-home, service calls. Establish customer rapport to provide the right products and services. Educate and assist customers on the importance of plumbing system repair and replacement. Ability to successfully track, process and document project work using industry service software. Explain reasons for plumbing system failures and illustrate how the issue can be resolved. Educate and assist customers about water quality and the part it plays in keeping both customers and their water system healthy. Develop a proven track record in soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, gas leak testing, and repair. Help customers select the right maintenance plan and understand warranty information. Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options. Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals. Maintain great communication with dispatch, customer service, supervisor, and warehouse. Present yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business. Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows, and retreats. Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs. Accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and option sheets. Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck. Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this! Qualification, Experience, and Desired Skills Minimum 4 years of applicable experience. Driver's license with a safe driving record. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and great attitude. Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. High integrity with advanced social skills and the ability to make solid connections.
