Plumbing Service Technician

Job Overview:

As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance tasks on commercial/industrial accounts. This role requires strong technical skills, troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Determines service needs, quotes prices, and performs repairs.
  
• Work involves performance of skilled plumbing tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment. It also includes installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems.
  
• Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  
• Performs basic repairs of faucets and pipes.
  
• Diagnoses and analyzes causes of plumbing problems.
  
• Performs thorough inspections and accurately quote replacements or repairs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 5 years of relevant commercial Plumbing Service job experience.
  
• Texas Journeyman's Plumbing License.
  
• Valid/Current driver license.
  
• Must be able to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  
• Must be able to install fixtures, make plumbing repairs to all systems, and be proficient in running drain calls and sewer machine operations.
  
• Ability to diagnose and analyze causes of plumbing problems.
  
• Ability to work independently and go on service calls with a professional customer service mindset is a must.
  
• OSHA 10 or other relevant safety certification is preferred.

Additional Requirement:

Ability to pass a full background screening that includes a criminal background, drug test, driving record, and physical ability test.
