Overview:
Polk Mechanical is seeking a Plumber to perform plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance work while also supporting general trade and field activities as needed. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to assist across multiple trades in a construction environment — a great fit for someone building a career in the plumbing trade.Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and components Support general trade work as needed across job sites Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing piping and materials Perform basic troubleshooting and identify issues under supervision Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies Assist skilled tradesmen with daily tasks and job site setup Load, unload, and transport materials and tools as neededQualifications:
Prior experience in plumbing or general construction preferred Experience working in a construction or trade environment Willingness to learn and take direction from skilled trades Valid driver's license preferred Trade certification, State of Texas, preferred OSHA 10 required Basic understanding of plumbing tools, materials, and techniques Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to lift 50-70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasksEEO Disclaimer:
