In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise in plumbing building codes, blueprint reading, and pipe installation will ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and local standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to remodeling and repair, while delivering exceptional customer service and quality craftsmanship. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and drainage in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing installations. Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations efficiently and safely. Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal functionality. Conduct system inspections to identify leaks or malfunctions; troubleshoot problems using basic math skills and technical knowledge. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver quality work on schedule while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of heavy lifting and construction site safety protocols. Valid journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification demonstrating mastery of plumbing skills. Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans. Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, gas piping systems, and building code compliance requirements. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and schematics reading. Familiarity with remodeling projects as well as commercial plumbing applications; experience with maintenance and repair tasks is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically capable of working in confined spaces or at heights as needed. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites; commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
