Job Description

Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Gas Plumber to join our growing team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of home standby generators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper and safe gas connections for residential standby generators, ensuring they are ready for use in case of power outages. This role requires an understanding of plumbing systems, gas lines, and electrical connections to safely complete generator installations in compliance with local codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Install natural gas and propane piping systems for residential standby generators Perform gas load calculations and ensure proper pipe sizing Install regulators, shutoff valves, and sediment traps per code Pressure test gas lines and perform leak detection Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national fuel gas codes Maintain clean and safe job sites Provide clear communication and professional customer interaction
Required Skills & Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in residential gas piping(preferred) Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with propane tank installations Experience working with major generator brands HVAC or additional mechanical certifications OSHA certification
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools (up to 50 lbs.) Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor environments, including tight spaces.
Compensation :

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
