Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Why Nova Facility Solutions? At Nova Facility Solutions, we are looking for more than someone who can fix a leak or replace a valve. We need a Lead Plumber who can take ownership of the plumbing side of a large commercial government facility and become the person our technicians, project management team, and customer can depend on. Our purpose is to lead, to guide, and to deliver our people to their apex. We believe talented tradespeople should have the opportunity to master their craft, take greater responsibility, and build careers that lead somewhere. Our goal is to create an exceptional experience and build a tribe of 100 A-players. That requires people who do not wait around for someone else to solve the problem. We want professionals who see what needs to be done, communicate clearly, take ownership, and finish the work correctly. Nova's culture is built around five core values: Integrity — Do what you say you will do. Respect — Communicate professionally and deliver quality work. Teamwork — Help the people around you succeed. Growth — Keep improving your skills, judgment, and leadership. Grit — Work through difficult problems without making excuses. This position supports a large, demanding government facility where professionalism matters. You will interact with Nova's Project Manager, government supervisors, facility personnel, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors. There will be competing priorities, aging infrastructure, and situations where the answer is not obvious. We need someone with the experience and composure to say, "I'll take ownership of the plumbing side," and then follow through. This role also solves an important operational problem for Nova. Our HVAC/R technicians and plant operators should not have to constantly step away from their primary responsibilities to cover plumbing tickets. We want a dedicated plumbing professional who can organize the workload, execute repairs, stay ahead of recurring requirements, and help us build a stronger plumbing operation. Your Impact at the DLA Facility The DLA facility at Fort Belvoir is a large commercial environment with significant mechanical infrastructure and ongoing maintenance requirements. Nova receives approximately 10-15 plumbing work tickets each week , ranging from routine issues to repairs that require troubleshooting, parts coordination, documentation, and follow-up. Your responsibility is to keep that work moving. You will help protect facility operations by staying ahead of: Plumbing service tickets Small piping repairs Valves, fixtures, drains, and associated systems Backflow prevention testing and certification requirements Recurring plumbing maintenance Material and parts needs Work requiring subcontractor support Aging infrastructure that requires planning instead of constant reactionWhen you do this job well, plumbing issues stop becoming interruptions for the rest of the mechanical team. Tickets get handled faster, records stay cleaner, customers get better communication, and Nova has a stronger operation. Growth, Stability & What's Possible This is a long-term government contract with strong stability, but we do not want this position to become a dead-end site assignment.
For the right person, this can be the beginning of something much larger.
