This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and installations across residential properties. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to plumbing system upkeep, possess strong mechanical knowledge, and demonstrate independent work ethic. As an integral part of our operations, you will help maintain safe, efficient, and compliant plumbing infrastructure for residents across nearly 60 properties, while also supporting remodeling projects. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with local building codes and schematics. Perform drain cleaning to clear blockages or replace damaged sections of piping. Operate power tools, hand tools, construction plumbing equipment, and company vehicles safely and efficiently on various job sites. Maintain plumbing systems through routine inspections, day-to-day maintenance, leak detection, and repairs to prevent future issues. Assist with construction site activities including carpentry, assembly, remodeling projects, and HVAC-related tasks as needed. Ensure all work adheres to safety standards by following proper procedures for welding, heavy lifting, and construction site protocols. Capable of working independently or in a team setting. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems in residential or commercial settings. Hands-on experience with many types of piping: pex, cooper, galvanized, etc. Familiarity with local building codes, schematics, blueprints reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Mechanical knowledge related to water systems, HVAC integration, and plumbing system maintenance. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, heavy machinery safely in various environments. Prior construction site experience including remodeling projects or new build installations is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations related to plumbing work. Excellent customer service skills combined with handyman experience or general carpentry skills are a plus. Candidates must have reliable transportation and proper tools. Gas reimbursement provided.
