$17.00-$23.00 per hour based on experience and performance Start a Hands-On Career with Roto-Rooter Looking for an opportunity to learn a skilled trade and build practical experience? Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Water Cleanup is hiring a Drain Technician to join our team in Weston, Wisconsin. No previous drain or plumbing experience is required. We're looking for dependable people who enjoy hands-on work, are comfortable learning new equipment, and want to develop valuable technical skills. We'll provide hands-on training to teach you how to identify drain problems, clear blockages, operate professional equipment, and provide great service to residential and commercial customers. You'll receive training on how to: Identify clogged or slow-moving drain lines Clear blockages using professional drain cleaning equipment Operate drain snakes and other specialized tools Learn to use sewer cameras and hydro jetting equipment Inspect drain and sewer systems to identify potential issues Perform routine drain cleaning and maintenance Communicate findings and service information to customers Document completed work accurately Properly maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles Provide professional customer service on every job As your skills develop, you'll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and continue expanding your knowledge of drain, sewer, and plumbing systems. A strong candidate will have:
Willingness to learn a skilled trade Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Interest in mechanical and hands-on work Ability to follow instructions and training Comfort learning to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Good problem-solving abilities Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in plumbing, drain cleaning, construction, maintenance, landscaping, utilities, automotive, mechanical work, or another hands-on field is helpful but not required .
