Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing regulations, and safety standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and HVAC components in accordance with construction plans and schematics Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and mechanical standards Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues and extend system lifespan Conduct inspections of plumbing installations to verify compliance with building code requirements and project specifications Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and ensure project milestones are met Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on residential and commercial plumbing projects Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Hands-on experience with pipe installation, pipe threading, welding, gas piping systems, and system maintenance Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, safety procedures, and environmental standards Familiarity with HVAC systems, heavy lifting techniques, carpentry basics, remodeling projects, and handyman tasks is a plus Prior field service experience in construction sites or maintenance operations is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations Join us as a Journeyman Plumber where your technical skills meet exciting construction challenges!
