HOUR HIRING PAY RANGE

$31.3171 TO $34.5712 ESSENTIAL

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs all preventative and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment. Consults Assistant Superintendent regarding preventative maintenance program. Inspect plant and mechanical equipment for malfunctions and needed repairs. Shall be capable of using and maintaining all tools and equipment used in the Department. Shall be familiar with all safety equipment used in the Department. Is required to keep all electrical equipment such as motors, generators, motor starters, etc. in operating conditions Willingness to fill in and be involved with plant operations and collection systems. Hours are 40 hours per week; emergency overtime as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability and knowledge in maintenance of mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, buildings, structures and grounds Knowledge of processes and equipment involved in Wastewater Treatment, compost operation, sewer system and pump stations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
