In-Person The Pump Technician is responsible for performing duties to maintain the fuel systems and point of sale systems at all convenient store locations and supported sites. Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and fuel controllers and monitoring systems. Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor, which at times can be strenuous. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials according to the Material Safety Data Sheets. Load and unload trucks and lift/move materials. Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed and report issues to the attention of the primary or secondary supervisor. Participate in on-call rotation as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Teamwork Orientation Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations Productivity/ Time Management Adaptability/ Flexibility Capability to use technological tools This position requires good multi-limb coordination, heavy lifting, walking and standing for long periods of time, reaching above the head, kneeling/squatting, and climbing ladders. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, carries objects and materials, and may perform periodic height work. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
