Monday - Friday, with rotating after hours on-call Reports to: General Manager About Wendell Lee Wendell Lee Well Services has been the leading water well installer and service provider Upstate South Carolina for over 100 years. We are looking for dependable, motivated, and skilled individuals to join our team and help support the next step of our continued growth! Position Summary The Well and Pump Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing various service-related needs for existing wells, as well as the installation and start up of new pump systems for newly installed wells. This position requires someone who is reliable, safety-focused, organized, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team when needed. Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and controls, water supply, and water quality issues in established wells at various customer locations.
  • Work closely with customers to understand concerns, and help recommend correct solutions.
  • Install complete pump systems in ground wells.
  • Safely operate heavy equipment.
  • Communicate with customers, team members, and supervisors professionally.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and job-site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records, paperwork, or reports as required.
  • Keep work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Support other team members and company operations when needed.
  • Availability to share in on-call weekend rotation for emergency work. Qualifications
  • Degree in mechanical, electrical, or engineering fields, or 3-5 years relevant experience in similar industry.
  • Previous experience in a skilled trade industry, especially plumbing or electrical is preferred. Experience in the water well industry is highly desirable..
  • Valid driver's license with CLEAN driving record is required, CDL is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain Class B or higher CDL.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Pre-employment and random drug screening required
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work outdoors, in varying weather conditions, or in physically demanding environments.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Strong understanding of electricity and trouble shooting skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and work safely.
  • Other relevant industry training, certifications, and experience is considered. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work with and operate heavy equipment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, or work in confined areas as needed
  • Ability to work around equipment, job sites, and changing field conditions
  • Ability to perform duties in hot, cold, wet, or outdoor environments Benefits

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
