Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ironworker, Welder, and Rigger to join our dynamic construction team. This multifaceted role involves interpreting detailed blueprints, fabricating and installing structural steel and metal components, operating a variety of welding techniques, and safely rigging heavy materials. The ideal candidate will bring construction site experience, mechanical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. Duties Read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical blueprints to guide fabrication and installation processes Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures using various welding methods including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal materials such as sheet metal and structural steel Rig heavy steel components using cranes and other lifting equipment while adhering to safety protocols for rigging operations Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, shop math, and construction site measuring techniques to ensure precise fabrication and installation Assemble structural steel components on-site or in fabrication shops following detailed technical drawings and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, inspecting tools and equipment regularly, and ensuring compliance with construction site safety regulations Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a solid understanding of metal fabrication, steel erection, and structural assembly Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and interpreting mechanical diagrams Skilled in welding techniques including

MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, GMAW

with knowledge of AWS standards Ability to operate cranes safely for lifting heavy materials during rigging operations Experience with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for precise fabrication work Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and the use of hand tools and power tools Familiarity with ASME codes & standards for metal fabrication and welding procedures Strong understanding of safety protocols specific to construction environments involving welding, rigging, and heavy lifting Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and material calculations Construction experience involving sheet metal fabrication or mechanical fabrication is highly desirable Knowledge of plasma cutting techniques and machining processes is a plus Join our team if you're ready to build impactful projects with precision craftsmanship!
