In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy equipment and materials on construction sites or industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all lifting operations adhere to safety standards while supporting the successful completion of projects. Duties Set up and inspect rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, hooks, and chains for each lift Operate cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy machinery safely and effectively Coordinate with crane operators and construction teams to plan lifting sequences and ensure smooth workflow Handle materials with precision using appropriate rigging techniques while adhering to safety regulations Follow OSHA safety standards and construction site safety protocols at all times during lifting operations Conduct thorough inspections of rigging gear before use and perform maintenance as needed Assist in the setup of overhead cranes and other lifting devices for various construction tasks Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to rigging equipment, hydraulics, and heavy machinery operation Proven experience with crane operation, overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, and excavators Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards and heavy equipment safety practices Skilled in materials handling, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse operations Ability to interpret technical diagrams and implement proper rigging procedures efficiently • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors Join us at TAKKION where your expertise as a Rigger will contribute directly to advancing renewable energy projects while working in a safe, supportive environment. Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
