We are seeking an experienced Rigging Foreman to lead and support rigging operations on a new construction project. This role is responsible for overseeing daily rigging activities, coordinating crews, and ensuring the safe lifting, moving, and placement of heavy materials, machinery, and structural components. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills along with advanced knowledge of rigging techniques, load calculations, and safety procedures in industrial or aerospace environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of riggers, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality of work Plan, coordinate, and execute rigging operations in accordance with lift plans and project requirements Inspect and approve rigging equipment prior to use, ensuring compliance with safety standards Direct crane operators and rigging crews during lifts to ensure proper load control and balance Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineered lift plans Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA and site-specific safety regulations Troubleshoot rigging challenges and provide hands-on support when needed Maintain daily reports, track progress, and communicate updates to project management

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Rigging Foreman or Lead Rigger in construction, industrial, or aerospace environments Strong knowledge of rigging equipment, load calculations, and safe lifting practices Demonstrated leadership and crew management experience Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient job site
