$20.50 / hour Job Description 3rd Shift 11pm-7am - Sunday -Thursday Job Summary:
The Wire Draw Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring wire drawing equipment to reduce wire diameter to specified dimensions while maintaining quality and production standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to inspect finished products for compliance with specifications. Would like bilingual (English/Spanish) and have forklift experience, but neither is a requirement.Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate wire drawing machines according to production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect wire products for quality, dimensions, and surface defects.
- Maintain production records and documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues.
- Work with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or wire drawing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
