Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Rigger/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic construction and heavy equipment team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy materials and equipment across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all operations comply with safety standards and project timelines are met efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and contribute to large-scale projects that make a real impact. Responsibilities Safely rig, lift, and position heavy loads using cranes, hoists, and other lifting devices in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications Operate overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and hydraulics equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards Inspect rigging gear, cranes, and lifting equipment regularly to ensure optimal condition and compliance with OSHA safety standards Coordinate with project managers, crane operators, and construction teams to plan lifting operations and execute tasks efficiently Handle materials safely within warehouses or construction sites, including shipping & receiving activities Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to prevent accidents or injuries during rigging and lifting operations Maintain detailed records of inspections, lift plans, and safety procedures for each operation Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation, hydraulics, and materials handling systems Proven experience operating cranes (overhead cranes, boom trucks), forklifts, excavators, backhoes, and other construction machinery In-depth understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards Skilled in rigging techniques for various types of loads and environments Ability to implement safety protocols effectively during complex lifting operations Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring clear safety instructions Join our team as a Certified Rigger/Forklift Operator to bring your expertise into exciting projects that challenge your skills while prioritizing safety at every step.
