The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in roofing and construction, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and safety. This role involves working on various commercial roofing projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems, including flat roofs, pitched roofs, and metal roofs. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various roofing tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met. Conduct regular inspections of roofing systems to identify potential issues. Apply caulking, stucco, and other materials as necessary for waterproofing and finishing. Assist in restoration projects by providing necessary repairs and maintenance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Skills Strong experience with hand tools, power tools, and various construction techniques. Knowledge of carpentry, including frame carpentry and trim carpentry. Familiarity with concrete forming, masonry, welding, tile laying, and metal stud framing. Well rounded in using silicone/silicone mastic/primer. Comp Shingle for residential as well. Ability to perform maintenance person tasks as needed during projects. Experience in plumbing or fabrication is a plus. Capability to lift heavy materials consistently throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
