Lead Bathroom Remodeler / Multi-Trade Remodeler La Mirada Builders La Mirada, CA Job Details Contract $250 - $300 a day 1 hour ago Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Renovation project management Residential painting Attention to detail Clean workspace maintenance Frame carpentry Working on construction projects Project stakeholder communication Woodworking Caulking Full Job Description La Mirada Builders is looking for an experienced Lead Bathroom Remodeler / Multi-Trade Remodeler who can take ownership of residential bathroom renovation projects and perform high-quality work with minimal supervision. This is not an entry-level laborer position. We are looking for someone who has personally completed full bathroom remodels and understands the entire process from demolition through final punch list. What We're Looking For You should be experienced in most or all of the following: Residential demolition and jobsite protection Basic framing and carpentry Subfloor and wall repair Drywall installation and finishing Cement board / tile backer installation Shower and tub waterproofing systems Shower pan preparation Tile layout and installation Grouting and caulking Flooring Vanity and cabinet installation Doors, casing, baseboard and finish carpentry Toilet and plumbing fixture installation Painting and finish work Final punch-list work Licensed plumbing and electrical work may be handled separately as required. We need someone who understands how those trades fit into the overall remodel and can coordinate their work with the rest of the project. You Must Have Proven experience completing full bathroom remodels Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong understanding of proper waterproofing and tile preparation Good finish-work standards and attention to detail Reliable transportation Your own standard hand and power tools Ability to communicate clearly about job progress, problems and material needs Ability to keep a clean, organized residential jobsite Photos of previous bathroom/remodeling work References from previous employers, contractors or customers What We Value We're looking for someone who thinks ahead. If you open a wall and find water damage, bad framing, plumbing problems or another unexpected condition, we want someone who stops, documents it, communicates the issue and helps determine the correct solution instead of covering it up and moving on. Quality is more important than rushing through the job. We're looking for someone dependable who can become an important part of our remodeling operation as we grow.
