Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sealer Installer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of sealants and waterproofing materials. Apply caulking, sealants, and other waterproofing products using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine sealing requirements and project specifications. Inspect completed work for quality control, ensuring proper application and adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, and glazing teams to coordinate sealing tasks within larger construction projects. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material transportation. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly. Experience Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on sealing, caulking, or waterproofing applications. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical instructions related to construction projects. Hands-on knowledge of using hand tools such as caulking guns, trowels, scrapers, and utility knives. Experience working with power tools including drills, grinders, and pneumatic equipment. Knowledge of construction management practices including safety protocols and quality assurance procedures. Ability to read technical drawings related to plumbing, electrical systems, or structural components is a plus.
