In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and compliant with safety standards. Responsibilities Install a wide range of roofing materials including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile laying to meet project specifications. Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to accurately execute roofing projects. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fastening, and sealing roofing components. Ensure proper use of construction safety harnesses, ladder use techniques, and other safety equipment to maintain a secure work environment. Perform heavy lifting tasks related to transporting materials such as metal studs, siding, stucco, or roofing panels. Follow construction workplace safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe job site. Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or remodeling projects with a solid understanding of roofing systems. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings is highly desirable. Familiarity with metal stud framing, siding installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and stucco work is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with the physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing. Strong understanding of construction safety harnesses, ladder use practices, and construction workplace safety regulations.
