The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, singleply, and tiles. Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for roofing tasks. Conduct heavy lifting as required during installation or repair processes. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites, including carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all job sites. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects. Skills Proficient in roofing techniques with hands-on experience in construction site environments. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes. Experience with various hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks. Familiarity with carpentry practices including frame carpentry and trim carpentry. Capable of performing heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities. Knowledge of masonry work, metal stud framing, tile laying, welding, and maintenance person skills is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
