In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems to ensure the safety and durability of our clients' structures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tile, shingles, torch-applied roofing, and single-ply roofing materials. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects while demonstrating craftsmanship and attention to detail. Duties Install, repair, and replace roofing systems using materials such as tiles, shingles, torch-applied membranes, and single-ply roofing products. Ensure proper installation procedures. Prepare roofs by cleaning surfaces, removing old materials, and ensuring proper surface conditions before installation. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and secure roofing materials. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers, other tradespeople, and clients to coordinate work schedules and project timelines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards. Troubleshoot issues during installation or repairs and implement effective solutions promptly. Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Roofer with a strong background in tile, shingles, torch-applied roofing systems, and single-ply roofing materials. Knowledge of safety procedures related to roofing work and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work at heights comfortably and safely in various weather conditions. Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks consistently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation is a plus.
