- $1,000 a day 1 hour ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Driver's License Full Job Description Independent Contractor Holiday Lighting & Décor Crews Orlando / Central Florida Johannessen Lights is seeking experienced independent contractor crews for seasonal commercial holiday lighting and décor installations throughout Central Florida.
This is a 1099 subcontractor opportunity for established crews that operate independently and carry their own insurance.

The $300
- 1,000 daily amount shown by Indeed is for reference purposes only.
It is not a guaranteed minimum, maximum, or established daily rate. This is project-based subcontract work, and compensation and terms will be agreed upon based on the individual project, scope of work, crew requirements, and complexity. Applicants who do not meet insurance, W-9, transportation, and licensing requirements will not be considered. Scope of Work Projects may include: Commercial Christmas light installation Garland, wreaths, bows, and holiday décor installation Decorating buildings, trees, columns, entry features, and community spaces Large-scale seasonal display installation Ladder and elevated work Loading, staging, and organizing materials Troubleshooting lighting and installation issues Holiday takedown and removal through January Contractor Requirements Contractors must: Operate as an independent contractor with an established crew Carry General Liability Insurance Carry Workers' Compensation Insurance Be able to provide a current Certificate of Insurance Provide a completed W-9 Have reliable transportation Have appropriate tools for installation work Have valid driver's licenses for all drivers Be able to perform physical outdoor work and work safely at heights Be available for seasonal project work through January Experience Experience with commercial holiday lighting or décor installation is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right crews. We are also interested in established crews with backgrounds in: Construction Roofing Landscaping Exterior lighting Sign installation Event installation Property maintenance Commercial installation work Schedule Work is seasonal and project-based . Projects may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, extended workdays, and travel throughout Central Florida. Compensation Each project will have an agreed-upon scope of work and compensation before work begins. The compensation range displayed by Indeed is provided only as a general reference and should not be interpreted as an established daily rate, minimum, maximum, or guarantee of work.
