Monday- Friday 7:45am-4:15pm Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Roofer Assistant to support roofing, facility maintenance, and general repair projects. This position will assist experienced team members with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems while following all required safety procedures. Job Duties & Responsibilities Assist with roofing installation, repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Carry, load, unload, and organize roofing materials, tools, and equipment. Assist with removing old roofing materials and preparing surfaces for repairs or installation. Help install roofing materials, flashing, sealants, insulation, and other components as directed. Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly. Set up and clean work areas before, during, and after projects. Assist with identifying leaks, damaged roofing materials, and areas requiring repair. Safely work on rooftops and a scissor lift. Follow OSHA guidelines and all company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE. Maintain tools and equipment and report damaged or unsafe equipment. Assist with general facility maintenance and other shop or building projects as needed. Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced roofing/maintenance personnel. Qualifications Previous roofing, construction, maintenance, or general labor experience preferred. Comfortable working outdoors and at heights. Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 lbs. or more as needed. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred. Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods. Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required. #WPB
