In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring structures are weatherproof, durable, and built to the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and construction experience to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities Install a variety of roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and traditional shingles, ensuring precise adherence to project specifications. Conduct roofing repairs and restoration work efficiently while maintaining strict safety protocols. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute roofing plans. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening roofing components. Perform siding installation, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry work as needed for comprehensive building finishes. Follow construction safety harness procedures, ladder use guidelines, and workplace safety regulations at all times during outdoor work. Lift heavy materials safely and assist with fabrication and framing tasks when required for complex roofing projects. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair. Knowledge of various roofing systems including metal roofing and single-ply membrane applications. Ability to read construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and scaffolding or ladder use. Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, workplace safety regulations, and OSHA standards related to roofing. Experience in siding installation, stucco work, caulking, tile laying or masonry is a plus. Outdoor work experience with a strong emphasis on safety protocol adherence is essential.
