Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on commercial buildings, ensuring durability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality roofing solutions that stand the test of time while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and construction experience to make a tangible impact on our clients' properties. Duties Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems involving a variety of single-ply membrane roofing. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install roofing components. Conduct roofing repairs and restoration work while adhering to all construction safety regulations and safety protocol guidelines. Safely operate ladders and construction safety harnesses for elevated work at heights. Lift heavy materials and equipment regularly while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations throughout all project phases. Qualifications (not required) Knowledge of metal roofing systems, single-ply membrane roofing, and other commercial roofing materials. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and the use of hand tools and power tools in outdoor environments preferred, but not required. Understanding of construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, heavy lifting techniques, and adherence to construction workplace safety regulations. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with a focus on safety protocol adherence. Additional skills such as siding installation, drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work or handyman experience are advantageous. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work; excellent teamwork skills; ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
