Full Job Description Experienced Shingle Installer - In-House Crew- Roofer Rimrock Roofing and Gutters is looking for an experienced shingle roofer to join our in-house team. We are looking for someone who knows how to work, takes pride in doing things correctly, shows up consistently, and works well as part of a crew. We care just as much about attitude, dependability, and work ethic as we do years of experience. This position is for an installer, but there is significant opportunity for increased responsibility, higher pay, and future crew leadership for the right person. Responsibilities Install asphalt shingle roofing systems Perform tear-offs and roof preparation Install underlayment, ice and water shield, flashing, vents, pipe flashings, valleys, ridges, and other roofing components Identify and communicate problems found during tear-off or installation Follow manufacturer specifications and company installation standards Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Protect landscaping, siding, windows, driveways, and customer property Work efficiently as part of a crew Assist with roofing repairs and other roofing-related work as needed Properly use and care for company tools and equipment Follow company safety procedures at all times What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate: Has previous asphalt shingle roofing experience Understands proper roofing installation—not just how to run a nail gun Is comfortable working on roofs of varying pitches and heights Can work efficiently without sacrificing quality Shows up on time and ready to work Takes responsibility for their work Can follow directions and communicate well Works well with others and contributes to a positive crew environment Is willing to learn our systems and the way we do things Is willing to share knowledge and help less-experienced coworkers improve Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Can safely perform the physical requirements of roofing work Experience with metal roofing, TPO, gutters, repairs, or other exterior construction is a plus but is not required. Pay Depending on experience and ability.
