North Shore Holiday Lighting is hiring a Seasonal Holiday Lighting Installer for the 2026 season. This is a hands-on outdoor position helping install professional Christmas light displays on residential homes throughout Chicago's North Shore. Responsibilities include preparing and installing C9 roofline lights, wrapping trees and columns with mini lights, setting walkway lights, running extension cords and timers, loading and unloading equipment, setting up and moving ladders, and assisting with removal after the season. Most roof work will initially be handled by the owner, but applicants should be comfortable working on ladders and around heights. Roof work may be added depending on experience and training. We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outside in cold weather. Experience with roofing, gutters, landscaping, construction, exterior services, ladders, or similar work is preferred but not required.

Pay:

$23/hour

Schedule:

Approximately 30-40+ hours per week during peak season. Monday through Saturday availability is preferred. Hours may vary based on weather and workload, with some early starts and longer days.
