Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems, including metal roofing and single-ply membrane roofing. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to support roofing tasks. Follow detailed construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution. Handle heavy lifting and material transportation around the job site while adhering to safety protocols. Support the setup and use of scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses to maintain a secure work environment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with construction workplace safety regulations at all times. Requirements Prior construction experience or background in roofing, siding installation, or related trades is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and fall protection measures is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques. Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol guidelines. Outdoor work experience demonstrating physical stamina and resilience in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly.
