Duties Measure and interpret blueprint specifications to determine gutter lengths, angles, and placement according to project plans. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and heavy equipment safely to install seamless gutters on various building types. Follow construction plans and schematics accurately to ensure proper alignment and secure attachment of gutters. Fabricate custom gutter sections on-site when necessary, ensuring seamless integration with existing roofing and building features. Install related components such as downspouts, brackets, hangers, and splash blocks with precision. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to ensure adherence to safety standards and customer expectations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding project progress, address questions or concerns, and ensure a positive service experience. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a strong focus on building material installation and roofing projects. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and ladders safely and effectively. Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans. Knowledge of gutter installation techniques along with related skills such as roofing, siding, or drywall installation is preferred. Familiarity with construction estimating, inspection procedures, and construction management practices is a plus. Ability to interpret dimensional measurements accurately for precise fitting of gutter systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
