In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gutters, ensuring optimal water management and protection for residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality results that stand the test of time while adhering to safety standards and construction best practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in outdoor construction work, roofing systems, and various fabrication techniques. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install various types of gutters including metal, vinyl, and custom materials according to project specifications Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute installation plans Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations and repairs Ensure all work complies with construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and fall protection gear Perform roofing repair tasks such as installing single-ply membrane roofing or metal roofing systems when required for gutter integration Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing structures for proper drainage solutions and necessary modifications Follow detailed construction plans and schematics to ensure precise alignment with project requirements Assist with other related tasks such as siding installation, caulking, trim carpentry, or masonry work as needed on-site Experience Prior experience in construction estimating, site preparation, or outdoor building projects is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and stucco applications Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques relevant to gutter installation Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations such as OSHA standards and the proper use of safety harnesses and ladders Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Experience working on construction sites involving framing carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or restoration projects is a plus Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions Knowledge of building codes related to siding installation, metal stud framing, caulking, tile laying or remodeling projects is beneficial Join us in creating durable solutions that protect buildings from water damage while advancing your career in a fast-paced construction environment!
