Duties Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials. Use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and ladders safely and effectively to perform roofing tasks. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to support accurate project execution. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and ensure proper use of safety harnesses and fall protection equipment. Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, staging areas, and securing materials for efficient workflow. Perform heavy lifting tasks involving roofing materials, metal studs, framing components, and other supplies. Support in siding installation, stucco application, drywall work, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry, plumbing rough-ins, welding, tile laying, and other related construction activities as needed. Experience Prior construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades such as siding installation or remodeling is highly preferred. Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety standards is essential. Experience reading construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Knowledge of various roofing types including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems is advantageous. Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions to ensure safety and productivity on job sites. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, carpentry (including framing), drywall installation or finishing is beneficial.
