Mid-Michigan / Project-Site Based About the Position Oneida Property Remodeling & Restoration LLC is hiring an experienced Remodeling Technician to perform residential remodeling and renovation work. Our projects include kitchens, bathrooms, basements, interior renovations, windows and doors, carpentry, drywall, trim, repairs, and other residential improvements. We are looking for someone who can produce quality work , solve problems in the field, and work professionally in customers' homes. Responsibilities Perform residential remodeling and construction work Interior demolition and preparation Framing and carpentry Install doors and windows Install cabinets and trim Perform drywall installation and repair Complete finish carpentry Perform general residential repairs Read measurements and project scopes Identify and communicate field conditions or problems Maintain clean, safe, organized jobsites Protect occupied homes and customer property Work independently on assigned tasks Coordinate with crew leads and project management Assist and mentor less-experienced employees when appropriate Complete work according to Oneida quality standards Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of residential remodeling/construction experience Demonstrated carpentry and remodeling skills Experience with common construction hand and power tools Ability to measure, layout, cut, install, and finish accurately Ability to troubleshoot field conditions Ability to work independently without constant supervision Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Dependable attendance Professional appearance and communication Ability to work respectfully inside occupied homes Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship Preferred Experience Experience in several of the following is strongly preferred: Finish carpentry Framing Cabinet installation Doors and windows Drywall Trim Flooring Painting/prep Kitchen and bathroom remodeling Basement finishing We do not expect one person to be a master of every trade. Compensation $20-$25/hour , depending on experience and demonstrated ability. Higher compensation within the range is reserved for candidates who can independently perform multiple remodeling tasks with minimal supervision.
