Position Summary Vanterra Foundation Solutions is seeking Radon Technicians to install radon mitigation systems in residential homes. Technicians will work with installation crews to safely install radon systems and ensure homes meet radon safety standards. In addition to radon mitigation system installation, this role may also assist with related construction and installation tasks , including drilling, sealing, carpentry, and other structural work associated with foundation repair, waterproofing, and residential improvement projects.
Duties / Responsibilities
Install radon mitigation systems in residential homes Drill, seal, and install piping and ventilation systems Inspect work areas and ensure systems are installed safely and correctly Assist installation crews with related construction tasks as needed Support structural and installation work associated with foundation repair, waterproofing, and residential improvement projects Communicate with homeowners regarding system installation Maintain tools and equipment Follow safety procedures and installation standards Maintain clean and organized job sites Qualifications Construction or home service experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Lift a minimum of 60 lbs Work in confined spaces including basements and crawl spaces Stand, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed Work in varying weather conditions including heat and cold Work outside year-round and at heights when required Other Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors year-round Must not be afraid of heights
