Scandia Cabinets is an award-winning cabinet manufacturer located in Brooklyn Park, MN. We have been proudly crafting custom cabinets since 1990. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Painter to join our team! The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have a strong work ethic, be committed to producing high-quality work, and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding and filling holes or cracks.
• Spray large amounts of dovetail drawer boxes
• Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed, such as moving materials or cleaning work areas
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Painter/Laborer or similar role (1-2 years required)
• Familiarity with painting, staining, and taping
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Ability to read & follow instructions
• Detail-oriented and great communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods

Requirements:

• Must be willing to work mandatory overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
• Must have reliable transportation
