Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Roofer and become a vital part of creating durable, high-quality roofs that stand the test of time! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure safety, weather resistance, and aesthetic appeal for our clients' properties. We're looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop their skills in roofing and construction. Duties Measure and cut roofing materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and finish Install roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membranes according to project specifications Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine the scope of work and material requirements Perform roof repairs by replacing damaged materials, sealing leaks with caulking, and restoring roofing components Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal sheets, or concrete forms safely and efficiently Use fabrication techniques to customize flashing, trim carpentry elements, or metal components for roofing projects Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols on construction sites Requirements Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields with knowledge of roofing systems and installation techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and specialized equipment for roofing tasks Familiarity with construction estimating processes and material calculations Experience with related trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or metal stud framing is a plus Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and performing strenuous tasks over extended periods Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to construction sites and roofing operations Join us to build roofs that protect communities while advancing your career in the vibrant world of construction!
