Overview Join our dynamic roofing team as a Roofing Crew Member and become an essential part of delivering high-quality roofing solutions! In this energetic role, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various roofing projects that include installation, repair, and maintenance. Your hands-on skills and safety awareness will drive our success, ensuring every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while contributing to beautiful, durable roofs that protect homes and businesses alike. Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of different roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and traditional shingle roofs. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and install roofing materials according to project specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure precise execution of roofing projects. Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses in compliance with construction safety regulations for secure access at heights. Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials such as shingles, metal panels, siding, or masonry components around the job site. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and your teammates. Support other trades such as siding installation, trim carpentry, stucco application, or masonry work as needed on multi-faceted remodeling projects. Requirements Prior construction experience or background working outdoors in physically demanding environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and adherence to construction safety protocols is essential. Familiarity with roofing repair techniques including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately. Experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, tile laying equipment or welding equipment is a plus. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights; comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
