At PlumbRite , we're looking for a dependable and hardworking Construction Water Services Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position where you'll work on construction sites helping install, repair, and maintain water service lines and related plumbing infrastructure . You don't need to know everything on day one. What matters is that you're willing to learn, work hard, show up, and take pride in doing the job right. You'll:
Install water service lines and related components according to project plans and specifications Assist with excavation, trenching, bedding, and backfilling Install and connect water service piping, fittings, valves, curb stops, and related components Assist with water service connections to buildings and existing infrastructure Operate and work around construction equipment safely Use hand tools and power tools properly and safely Read and follow plans, drawings, and job-site instructions Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials as needed Assist with testing water service installations Identify and communicate potential problems or issues to the foreman or supervisor Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials Follow all company safety policies and job-site requirements Work efficiently to help keep projects on schedule Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, contractors, and customers Represent PlumbRite professionally on every job site You'll be working with your hands, working outdoors, solving problems, and seeing the results of your work from start to finish. You're not just digging a trench—you're helping build the infrastructure that keeps homes, businesses, and communities running. Requirements We're looking for someone who: Is dependable and shows up ready to work Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude Is willing to learn and take direction Works well as part of a team Takes pride in doing quality work Pays attention to detail Takes safety seriously Is comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Can perform physically demanding work Can lift and carry materials and equipment as required Is comfortable working in trenches and around construction equipment Can safely use basic hand and power tools Has reliable transportation to and from work Has a valid driver's license (preferred/required based on position) Experience That's a Plus Construction experience Plumbing experience Water service installation experience Underground utility experience Excavation or trenching experience Experience reading construction plans or drawings Experience operating construction equipment Experience with residential or commercial water services Construction or plumbing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
