Overview Join our dynamic construction and landscaping team as a General Construction Worker and be a vital part of building and renovating structures that make a difference. In this role, you will engage in a variety of hands-on tasks across diverse projects, from residential remodels to hardscaping. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and fastening. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to execute project specifications accurately. Perform installation of building materials, including framing, drywall, flooring, tile, and cabinetry. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards. Perform outdoor work including hardscaping construction projects like patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Support heavy equipment operation for site preparation and material handling. Participate in remodeling projects by installing doors, windows, trim carpentry, and finishing touches such as caulking and plastering. Follow safety procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment on all construction sites. Assist with electrical and plumbing installations as needed, adhering to technical specifications. Contribute to concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, and stucco applications for durable structures. Experience Prior construction experience is highly preferred; candidates should have hands-on knowledge of building construction processes. Familiarity with construction management practices and estimating techniques is advantageous. Experience operating heavy equipment and using various hand tools is essential for efficiency on site. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Outdoor work experience across different weather conditions enhances adaptability in this role. Knowledge of safety protocols specific to construction sites ensures a secure working environment for all team members. Skills in masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, window installation, door hanging, and cabinet setup are valuable assets.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.40 per hour
