Job Description
Job Overview Ringwood Family Dental is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Dentist to join our premier fee-for-service practice in West Milford, NJ. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced dental technology. Diagnose dental issues such as cavities, periodontal disease, endodontic problems, and oral pathology with precision and clarity. Perform a wide range of treatments including dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control procedures in accordance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions using clear dental terminology. Maintain accurate medical records and document all treatments in compliance with healthcare diagnosis standards and medical documentation protocols. Requirements Valid state licensure as an Associate Dentist with current licensing credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant procedures. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control practices, and dental fabrication processes. Ability to perform routine dental extractions, anterior root canal therapy, and other procedures confidently. Excellent patient communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and education. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical records management. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental clinic environment while maintaining high standards of quality care.
