Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Roofing Superintendent & Roofers to lead and execute roofing projects with precision, safety, and efficiency. Duties Lead and supervise roofing crews on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA and federal construction safety regulations. Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid, ensuring timely completion of roofing projects. Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Manage subcontractors and vendors, negotiating contracts and overseeing their work to meet quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and implement quality control measures. Oversee construction schedule coordination, ensuring seamless integration of roofing activities with overall project timelines. Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Supervise team members effectively by managing crew assignments, providing training on construction safety management, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Review blueprints and schematics to interpret technical details necessary for precise installation. Ensure compliance with all construction regulations while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Proven experience in heavy commercial or industrial roofing projects with a strong background in managing teams in a construction management role. Extensive knowledge of construction site experience including blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and project scheduling. Familiarity with construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality control and safety standards. Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations specific to roofing operations. Experience supervising crews in the field with excellent managerial communication skills that motivate teams toward shared goals. Knowledge of budgeting processes related to roofing projects along with experience in managing contracts effectively. Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately using tools like ohmmeters when necessary for electrical or material specifications. Construction scheduling expertise coupled with excellent management skills to coordinate activities efficiently across various phases of the project.
