Responsibilities Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately install various siding materials, including vinyl, fiber cement, metal, and stucco. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary insulation or backing materials before siding installation. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure siding panels according to specifications. Install safety harnesses, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment following strict construction safety regulations to ensure personal safety and that of team members. Perform roofing repairs or assist with roofing projects such as single-ply membrane roofing or metal roofing when required. Follow all safety protocols diligently, including proper use of construction workplace safety regulations and heavy lifting techniques. Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure precise installation aligned with project plans. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to ensure siding is properly secured, aligned, and finished to high standards. Assist in restoration projects or remodeling efforts that may involve drywall, caulking, masonry, tile laying or other related tasks. Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and ensuring all safety measures are in place throughout the project. Experience Previous construction experience with a focus on siding installation or exterior building finishes is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or plans. Hands-on experience working outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to construction site safety regulations. Familiarity with roofing repair techniques such as single-ply membrane roofing or metal roofing is a plus. Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment safely. Experience with masonry, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application or tile laying is advantageous but not required. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday. Knowledge of construction workplace safety protocols including harness use, ladder safety procedures, and OSHA standards ensures a safe working environment for all team members.
